PSI ADDS TWO NEW PHYSICISTS AND
TWO CERTIFIED DOSIMETRISTS PSI is happy to announce the
hiring of Nadeem Khan and Brandon Morgan, two Masters level medical
physicists, who have joined our growing team this year. Both Nadeem and
Brandon are NYS licensed in Medical Physics.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that two of our present staff,
Mark Fink and Jeremy Kilduff, have passed the dosimetry boards and are now
Certified Medical Dosimetrists (CMD). This brings our total to four
Certified Dosimetrists that we use for local and remote treatment
planning.
Rapid IMRT Plan Offers Quick
Start For IMRT Programs
PSI now offers a Rapid IMRT Plan that can implement an IMRT program in
as little as one month.
Using either brass compensators from .decimal or an existing MLC unit,
we can work with your existing physics/dosimetry staff to start an IMRT
program.
Please call us for details.
PSI Acquires
A second CMS Xio Planning System
PSI has purchased another CMS Xio treatment planning system for
our Dosimetry Center. These systems allow our staff of physicists and
dosimetrists to plan complex 3D and IMRT plans for our remote clients via
our high speed internet connection.
The growing demand for IMRT plans and the ease of use of a remote
planning system has required us to expand our Dosimetry Center.
We also house a broadband FOCAL simulation server which allows the
physician to interact with the patient's pre-plan and post plan from any
computer system - at work or at home.
We are now able to provide the these planning services
to all Hospitals and clinics, regardless of location, since the planning
data may be transferred via DICOM or other electronic media.
PSI Acquires
A second State-of-the-art Brachytherapy Planning System
PSI has purchased another Varian Variseed planning system for
treatment planning of prostate seed implants. This second unit will help
us to keep up with the growing demand of live planning in the operating
room.
This software allows us to
provide the full spectrum of planning: from pre-planning, to live O.R.
planning, to post-op CT planning.
We are now able to provide the Prostate Seed Implant planning services
to all Hospitals and clinics, regardless of location, since the planning
data may be transferred via DICOM or other electronic media.
