BUFFALO October 16, 2012 -- Physics Services Inc has been selected for the 2012 Best of Buffalo Award in the Physics Consultant category by the Buffalo Award Program.

PSI Acquires A second CMS Xio Planning System

PSI has purchased another CMS Xio treatment planning system for our Dosimetry Center. These systems allow our staff of physicists and dosimetrists to plan complex 3D and IMRT plans for our remote clients via our high speed internet connection.

The growing demand for IMRT plans and the ease of use of a remote planning system has required us to expand our Dosimetry Center.

We also house a broadband FOCAL simulation server which allows the physician to interact with the patient's pre-plan and post plan from any computer system - at work or at home.

We are now able to provide the these planning services to all Hospitals and clinics, regardless of location, since the planning data may be transferred via DICOM or other electronic media.

PSI Acquires A second State-of-the-art Brachytherapy Planning System

PSI has purchased another Varian Variseed planning system for treatment planning of prostate seed implants. This second unit will help us to keep up with the growing demand of live planning in the operating room.

This software allows us to provide the full spectrum of planning: from pre-planning, to live O.R. planning,  to post-op CT planning.

We are now able to provide the Prostate Seed Implant planning services to all Hospitals and clinics, regardless of location, since the planning data may be transferred via DICOM or other electronic media.
